1. Acceptance
By accessing or using sanect.com, the explorer at scan.sanect.com, the staking application at app.sanect.com, the testnet explorer, or any other Sanect-operated service (collectively, “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. Nature of the services
The Services provide information about the Sanect protocol and interfaces to the Sanect network. The protocol itself is a decentralised, permissionless blockchain — the contributors who built it do not operate it, do not control it, and cannot reverse, freeze or otherwise intervene in transactions.
The testnet (chain ID 76287) is provided for development and testing only. Testnet SNCT has no monetary value.
3. No financial advice
Nothing on the Services constitutes financial, investment or trading advice, or a solicitation to buy, sell or hold any digital asset. SNCT tokens are not offered as securities. Conduct your own research and consult qualified professionals before making financial decisions.
4. No warranty
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We make no representation that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free or free from harmful components. The testnet may be restarted, reset or terminated at any time. The mainnet operates as a decentralised protocol with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Sanect contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of funds, data or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Services or the protocol.
6. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to use the Services to:
- violate any applicable law or regulation;
- conduct or facilitate money laundering, terrorism financing or sanctions evasion;
- attempt to compromise the security or integrity of the network or services;
- engage in market manipulation or fraudulent activity;
- scrape, crawl or harvest data in a manner that burdens infrastructure.
7. Intellectual property
The Sanect protocol source code is publicly viewable on GitHub under a source-available licence. You may view and audit the code, but copying, modification or redistribution requires prior written permission from Sanect UK Limited (Company No. 17404397). The sanect.com content, design and brand assets are owned by Sanect UK Limited; brand assets may be used in accordance with the brand guidelines.
8. Jurisdictional restrictions
The Services are not directed at persons in jurisdictions where access to or use of blockchain-based services is prohibited. By using the Services you represent that your use complies with the laws of your jurisdiction; it is your responsibility to determine whether use is lawful where you are.
9. Third-party services
The Services may link to or integrate with third-party services (for example MetaMask or GitHub). We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of third parties.
10. Modifications
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced in community channels.
