The networkis yours.

No foundation veto. No core-team override. SNCT holders submit proposals and cast votes that execute directly on chain, through the same wallet they already use.

01How a proposal moves

From idea to on-chain change.

01

Draft

Post the idea to the community forum. Gather feedback and signal before depositing.

02

Deposit

Lock the on-chain minimum deposit (shown live below). Returned if the proposal passes; burned if it fails quorum or is vetoed.

03

Vote

A fixed voting window set on chain (shown live below; shorter when expedited). Holders vote Yes / No / Abstain / NoWithVeto. Delegated stake votes with the validator unless overridden.

04

Execute

If quorum is met and Yes wins, the change executes on chain when voting closes — no multisig, no manual deployment.

02Rules of voting
Voting period
2days

Read live from the gov module. Window from deposit to close.

Min deposit
10,000,000asnct

Read live. Returned on pass, burned on failed quorum or veto.

Quorum
33.4%

Share of staked SNCT that must participate.

Pass threshold
50% + 1

Simple majority of Yes over Yes+No.

Veto threshold
33.4%

NoWithVeto at this share rejects and burns the deposit.

Expedited
1day

Expedited proposals: shorter window, 66.7% threshold, higher deposit.

These parameters are themselves governable — any of them can be changed by proposal.

03What the community decides

Protocol

  • Block time and gas limits
  • Validator cap (currently 50)
  • Staking reward emission
  • Slashing parameters
  • Software upgrades

Treasury

  • Grant approvals
  • Community fund allocations
  • Ecosystem incentive programmes
  • Bug-bounty tier adjustments

Privacy

  • Shielded pool parameters
  • Proof verification gas costs
  • New privacy primitives
  • Compliance-module opt-in policy

Governance itself

  • Voting period length
  • Quorum requirements
  • Deposit amount
  • Veto threshold
04Voting power

One SNCT, one vote weight.

Voting power equals bonded SNCT. Delegators inherit their validator’s vote by default and can override it on any proposal — your own vote always takes precedence.

  • ✓
Bonded tokens count. Stake to a validator to participate; liquid tokens do not vote.
  • ✓
Delegation with override. Your validator votes for you unless you vote yourself.
  • ✓
Execution is automatic. Passed proposals apply the moment voting closes, without any manual step.
  • ✓
Callable from Solidity. The governance precompile at 0x…805 exposes submit and vote to contracts and wallets alike.

Governance is live.

Stake SNCT on mainnet to participate. Submit proposals, vote on upgrades, shape the network.
