Run a nodeno staking required · ~20 min setup

Your ownRPC, synced.

A full node syncs the chain and can expose a JSON-RPC endpoint. No stake, no validator duties — network support and a private endpoint that is yours.

this page

Full / RPC node

Syncs the full chain, optionally serves JSON-RPC. No SNCT stake. For developers who want a private endpoint or want to support decentralisation.

  • No stake required
  • ~50 GB storage to start
  • 2 CPU / 4 GB RAM minimum
alternative

Validator node

Participates in consensus, produces blocks, earns rewards. Requires stake to compete for a top-50 slot; registrations are unlimited.

  • SNCT stake required
  • Top 50 by stake are active
  • 4 CPU / 8 GB RAM recommended

03Quickstart

Up in one command.

One container serves EVM JSON-RPC, CometBFT RPC (/rpc) and Cosmos REST (/rest) on port 8080. Set SNAPSHOT_MANIFEST_URL to start from a recent height instead of genesis.

docker · full node
# build once — forks cosmos/evm and patches the sanect identifiers
git clone https://github.com/sanect/sanect-node.git && cd sanect-node
docker build -t sanect-node docker/

# run, joining mainnet — JSON-RPC, CometBFT RPC and REST behind one port
docker run -d --name sanect-node --restart unless-stopped \
  -p 8080:8080 -v sanect-data:/data \
  -e JOIN_NETWORK=true -e CHAIN_ID=sanect_7628-1 -e EVM_CHAIN_ID=7628 \

04Manual install
01
Build sanectd from source
git clone https://github.com/sanect/sanect-node.git && cd sanect-node
./scripts/fork-cosmos-evm.sh # pins cosmos/evm, patches chain ids + denom
02
Initialise the node
sanectd init my-node --chain-id sanect_7628-1 --home /data/.sanectd
03
Fetch genesis and set peers
curl -s https://rpc.sanect.com/rpc/genesis | jq .result.genesis > /data/.sanectd/config/genesis.json
# set persistent_peers = "[email protected]:26656" in config.toml
04
Enable JSON-RPC and start
# app.toml → [json-rpc] enable = true, address = "0.0.0.0:8545"
sanectd start --home /data/.sanectd
05
Verify sync
curl -s http://localhost:26657/status | jq .result.sync_info
# catching_up: false → synced
