# Sanect

> Sanect (also written "Sanect Network" or "Sanect blockchain") is a privacy-first Layer 1 blockchain. It runs unmodified Solidity on an EVM execution layer over Cosmos SDK + CometBFT consensus (~400 ms blocks, deterministic finality) and adds a native zero-knowledge shielded pool so any EVM wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, etc.) can make transfers where sender, receiver and amount are hidden. No new seed phrase, no separate wallet. Mainnet chain ID 7628 (cosmos: sanect_7628-1) has been live since 22 June 2026. Native token: SNCT (18 decimals, base unit asnct), 1,000,000,000 at genesis, no VC allocation. Legal entity: Sanect UK Limited (Company No. 17404397).
